The Mazuelo variety gives good tannins, high acidity and stable colour, making it perfect in a blend with Tempranillo for long ageing wines. Beronia Mazuelo Reserva undergoes a slow fermentation in order to extract aromas and colour therefore giving its marked personality. Following fermentation this wine is aged for 26 months in mixed oak barrels with American staves and French tops. Beronia Mazuelo Reserva is the only 100% Mazuelo Reserva available on the market.
